English Scroll: Small delicate scrolls that are engraved in a tight pattern, resulting in an understated & elegant effect.

American Scroll: Larger, bold scroll, usually with a cut away background & shaded leaves, commonly used on rifles & guns with American themes & hunting scenes.

Acanthus Leaf: A very decorative scroll, designed after the Acanthus leaf that grows in southern Europe. This style is engraved on our dollar bill.

German Black Leaf: A style used a lot on German & Austrian guns. It is made up of an actual leaf design with standard scrolls mixed in.
